Meet Our Furry Friday Pal Karly!

Is she old? Or is she young? Sometimes you look at a dog and you honestly can't tell. But upon further inspection, you quickly understand that our Furry Friday dog Karly is just a pup! Karly came from a litter of 5 puppies and she and three of her siblings are currently at Safe Haven of Iowa County. She gets along great with her littermates and other dogs, but she was a little apprehensive about spending time in the K-Hawk studio. But after some treats and pets, she warmed right up!

Karly is a Pyrenees/Lab mix and is about six months old. You can tell by looking at those giant paws of hers that she is going to be a big girl. She already weighs over 50 pounds! But the fact she has some lab in her means she might not get quite as big as a purebred Pyrenees. She was so friendly and gentle with us as she took her treats. She is only a puppy yet and will obviously need some training.
