These days things can seem pretty redundant. We go to the same places (when we do go out) and do the same things. That’s why it’s so nice to have something new to look forward to. Introducing the new Adventureland roller coaster that just became one step closer to being completed.

Earlier this year, we told you that the Dragon coaster was being taken down and replaced with the new 4D Dragon Slayer. It's a steel roller coaster with side-mounted seats. The 4D part basically means that riders "rotate independently of the orientation of the track", according to a WHO report. It's pretty sweet! Construction on the new coaster started back in June, now five months later the new track is finished.

According to KCCI, park officials confirmed that the track has been completed. Just in time too, before winter. Adventureland officials posted a video to their Facebook page showing the new ride including the new seats. It's pretty sweet. Check it out in the video below.

The track may be complete, but there is still some work to be done. Construction will continue on the ride until its expected completion date sometime in 2021. Luckily, 2020 is almost over so we won't have to wait too long.
