98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Jeremy Honkomp

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Jeremy Honkomp, who was nominated by Tony Scherbring! The entry reads:

"Jeremy is a great Fire Chief for the City of Dyersville (population 4,500). He manages the everyday Fire Chief duties of 40 volunteer fireman, while also running a business and being a husband and father to three young girls. Jeremy is willing to help anyone anytime, and will always lend a hand when needed."

Congratulations to Jeremy! We thank him for his service and dedication to our community!
