The long wait is over. It's Luke Bryan day in Cedar Rapids.

When I arrived on-site at 12:30 this afternoon, there were already at least 15 vehicles parked and tailgating on C St. SW. Right away I realized why Luke's people had told us parking lots would likely open early. This isn't their first trip to a farm in Iowa. The Farm Tour has been here multiple times before... just a couple of hours west of Cedar Rapids.

We've had a lot of people ask us about chairs and blankets in the VIP area. The answer to that is no. Those aren't allowed in the VIP area near the stage and the VIP area back further away from the stage has tables and chairs.

Earlier today, tons of information was provided by the Linn County Sheriff's Office about traffic leading up to and after today's concert. You can get all those details HERE.

We'll continue to update this story with more photos and information as the afternoon goes along. If you have additional questions, please post them below. We also have THIS STORY that will likely answer many of your questions.

I spoke with Mr. Brown, the property owner, on my way in. He said this Cedar Rapids show has been more than three years in the making. Enjoy this Cedar Rapids! Who knows, if we blow Luke Bryan and his special guests away tonight, maybe, just maybe, they'll come back in 2022! Either way, tonight is going to be a fantastic time.
