Preschool Teacher From Atkins Is Our Teacher Of The Week!

Each week we're proud to honor another outstanding area educator along with Menards, with our KHAK Teacher of the Week! This week our winner is Cynda Mehlert, a preschool teacher from Atkins Elementary!

She was nominated by Cassidy Davis, and this is what her entry said.

Cynda Mehlert is the epitome of a dream preschool teacher. She made my daughter feel loved and cared for while helping her grow socially and academically, and still respecting her introvert personality. My daughter went into kindergarten this year, and Mrs. Mehlert went to check on her throughout the day to see how she was handling her first day with a new teacher. I don't know any teacher who cares for her students as much as Cynda does.
