Brain and Courtlin’s ‘First Responder Friday’ Honors Tara Jo Barron

Every Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during their 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

This week, we are honoring Tara Jo Barron, who was nominated by Sandy West. The entry reads;

Tara has been on the Blairstown, Iowa, Fire Department for 10 years, and 9 Years in EMS. She has a family, husband Lee, and three children, Jonathan, 15, Joshua, 8 Madison, 6. Tara just started at the Iowa Health Care/UHIC as a Patient Care Technician, and she is on the fire and EMS at Hawkeye Downs racing on Friday nights. She is very dedicated to the fire department; she goes above and beyond to help everyone be safe. We are very proud of her.
