KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — October 14th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Mike Moran of Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” Mike was nominated by an anonymous person, and here’s what they had to say:

"You want to talk about a teacher that inspires students, makes class time interesting, expects his students to show him respect and in return he will show them that same respect? Yes, we're talking about Mike Moran, language arts teacher at Kennedy High School. He's not only a talented teacher but also a talented musician who plays guitar and serenades his students occasionally in his classroom. He's one of a kind!"

Mike will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford, Peck’s Flower Shop, Half Price Books, and Kathy’s Pies.
