And, just like that... another Radiothon is officially in the books!

Last week (August 13th & 14th), we hosted our 29th annual Radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Over the course of those two days, we got to chat with kids and families whose lives have been impacted by the hospital, as well as some important hospital staff members. Then, on Friday night, we had the pleasure of announcing this year's donation total, courtesy of our incredible listeners!

As you can see from the last photo, we were able to present a check for around $95,000 to the Children's Miracle Network on Friday. It was another astounding number, which brings our total donation amount to around $3.2 million over the course of 29 years. That massive total would not be possible without our listeners across Eastern Iowa and beyond, who graciously and consistently contribute to our Radiothon year after year. We truly cannot thank you enough for your compassion and dedication. It never ceases to amaze us!

We also have to thank the wonderful UI staff members, the phone bank volunteers, and the families that take time out of their day to drive to the hospital for their interviews. One man drove all the way from LANSING in NE Iowa to tell his story this year! It's definitely a team effort, and its a great team to be a part of.
