Brain & Courtlin Try a Brand New Restaurant for August Lunch

Look out Johnson County... we're coming for you!

It's been an exciting few months of Listener Lunch. In June, we traveled to Jones County to visit Boondocks in Anamosa. In July, we had some delicious pizza in Benton County at Cranky Hank's Pizza Bank. And now, we're headed to Johnson County for the first time this year! In the month of August, we'll be taking listeners out to eat at a brand new restaurant in Tiffin...

When we say brand new restaurant, we really mean it! Cornerstone Pub just opened its doors at 1111 Parkside St at the end of June. Perfect timing, since the restaurant has a beautiful patio for outdoor dining!

As far as the menu goes, Cornerstone Pub offers classic pub fare, like burgers, sandwiches, and wings, as well as both New York and Chicago-style pizza. But, they also have some more unusual items, with appetizers like Dill Pickle Cheese Curds, Butter Chicken Poutine, Brisket Sweet Corn Nachos, and Deviled Eggs.

For entrees, options include the Brick Grilled Half Chicken, Blackened Shrimp Po' Boy, Cajun Chicken Alfredo, Garlic Parmesan Grouper, and more. And, for dessert, there's an 'Elevated Scotcharoo' you can order! YUM.
