KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — December 1st

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Ann Rozek, a teacher at Center Point-Urbana Intermediate School! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” She was nominated by an anonymous person, and here’s what they had to say:

"Ann Rozek is a special education teacher at CPU. She puts her heart and soul into the kids and you can tell! Our son is non-verbal Autistic, and Mrs. Rozek has helped him grow academically by leaps and bounds. She also spends countless hours outside of school taking classes, shopping for sensory items, and supporting Autism activities for our son! We appreciate and love her so much, she truly is a blessing!!!"

For being an amazing teacher, Ann will be receiving gift cards from Wild Hogs in Walford, Half-Price Books, and Kathy’s Pies!
