About Boondocks

Although it's easiest for us to do lunch in Linn and Johnson County (because that's where we live and work), we do like to try to get out of town once and a while. That's why we're headed to Brain's hometown of Anamosa in June! This is our third year doing Listener Lunch at Boondocks, and we are definitely excited to be back.

One of the reasons I'm looking forward to lunch in June is because Boondocks serves my favorite burger... probably ever. Seriously. It's called Gunsmoke, and it's topped with pepper jack cheese, a hand-breaded jalapeno popper patty, and garlic aioli. Just look at how amazing this thing is!

We're also a big fan of Boondocks' cheese curds, tenderloins, onion straws, loaded fries, pulled pork, skillet cookies... honestly, there hasn't been anything on the menu that we haven't loved!

About Listener Lunch

If you and 6 of your coworkers (or friends, family, whoever can make it) would like to join us for Listener Lunch in June, all you have to do is get signed up via the link HERE. We meet at 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday, and if we choose you, we will call you the Friday before to confirm that you can make it. You just have to answer your phone when we call!
