KHAK ‘Teacher of the Week’ — January 6th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Corinne Newport of Little Lambs Preschool in Hiawatha, this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” She was nominated by Kendra Preston. Here’s what she had to say:

"As each week passes in the school year, I am more and more convinced that Mrs. Newport was BORN TO influence the lives of young children. Mrs. Newport exemplifies all it means to be a great teacher. She is kind, generous, caring and patient, as well as enthusiastic and energetic. She has a magnetic personality that makes her students feel at ease immediately. She is truly one of a kind and more than deserving of your "Teacher of the Week" title!"
