It appears the Orlando Magic are going to cut the former Hawkeye hoopster before his contract becomes guaranteed.

Devyn Marble was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 2014 NBA draft as the 56th player taken overall and then traded to the Magic. He's played two seasons for Orlando, playing in 16 games as a rookie and 28 games last season, scoring a total of 97 points.

If Devyn is still on the Magic roster after Friday, Orlando would have to pay him $980,431.
