The Indiana Pacers are one win away from the NBA Finals, and a large reason for their success is former Iowa State Cyclone star Tyrese Haliburton.

From the opening tip, Haliburton was in full control of the Pacers' offense as Indiana topped the New York Knicks 130-121 to go up 3 games to 1 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals, according to ESPN.

Tyrese Haliburton Leads the Way With a Triple-Double

To say that Haliburton had a great game would be an understatement. He had a 'historic' game! ESPN reports that he became the first player in NBA Playoff history to put up at least 30 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds WITHOUT committing a turnover since the NBA began tracking turnovers in 1977! But the crazy stats don't end there.

Not a bad night for the former Iowa State Cyclone point guard.

Tyrese Haliburton's Dad Allowed to Attend the Game

According to ESPN, Haliburton's historic performance came on the night that his father, John, was allowed to watch at Gainbridge Arena in Indianapolis. The Pacers invited him to watch the game in a suite. It was his first time watching his son in person since his altercation with Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo at the end of the first-round series.
