98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Shawn Lafler

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Shawn Lafler, who was nominated by Tara Barron! The entry reads:

"This is my brother Shawn Lafler. He is with the Palo Fire Department and has been there for one year and eight months. He is very dedicated to the fire department and is doing a lot of training. I wanted to let Shawn know that I’m very proud of him! Love, your sister."
