Brain & Courtlin’s ‘First Responder Friday’ Honors Brandon Kent

Every Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during their 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today's honoree is Brandon Kent, who was nominated by Kenzie Kent! The entry reads:

"My husband, Brandon Kent, is a full-time Flight Paramedic with AirCare1 and also serves as a Medical Examiner Investigator in Jones County. His dedication to serving others goes far beyond his professional roles. Over the years, Brandon has selflessly given his time and energy to multiple EMS services in Jones County, always putting his patients and community first.

Brandon is truly a servant at heart—he shows up with passion, compassion, and commitment, no matter the situation. Whether it’s caring for patients in critical moments or supporting families during their most difficult times, he does so with respect, humility, and strength. His devotion to helping others, both in the air and on the ground, makes me proud every single day.

I believe Brandon deserves this recognition not only for the life-saving work he does, but for the way he consistently embodies what it means to serve with honor."
