Brain & Courtlin’s ‘First Responder Friday’ Honors Ashley Fox

Every Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during their 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today's honoree is Ashley Fox, who was nominated by Ben Fox! The entry reads:

"Ashley has devoted her life to helping people in EMS through multiple agencies. Originally starting out as an EMT, she graduated from the University of Iowa as a paramedic, and is now a critical care paramedic. She has changed the lives of countless people. Although the job is hard, and sometimes people can't be saved, Ashley cares for every patient the same. She has made her family proud, made me proud, and made our son proud. She deserves to be recognized for the hard work she has put into being a paramedic, loving wife, and loving mother."
