98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Katherine Pacha

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Katherine Pacha, who was nominated by Christine Pacha. The entry reads:

"Katherine is a first responder in every sense of the word. She’s a member of Linn County Regional Hazmat, Coralville Volunteer Fire Department, and goes out west to fight wildland fires through the DNR. If there is a way she can help others she’ll be there night or day. Always with a big smile on her face and a caring heart. My sister is the most deserving first responder I know."
