Brain Tries To Decide Between A Real Christmas Tree Or Artificial
We've had an artificial Christmas tree for several years now. It's tall, full, and easy to put away once we're done with it. But this year, we're thinking about making a change and getting a real tree. Why?
Well, let's start with the tradition of picking out a tree. Getting the family together and heading out to a tree farm, looking for the perfect fit for our living room. There is also the smell of a real tree. It's one of my favorite scents of the year. Plus, local tree farms help the local economy and ensure those people have jobs. A real Christmas tree is the traditional choice for the holidays.
But there is a reason artificial trees are so popular. Once again, we have one that we've used that past 7 years. It's convenient. You just pack it away each year, and then get it out. No heading out into freezing temps to pick out your tree. You can even get them pre-lit! Of course, there are no needles to clean up, and you can leave it up as long as you want. And yes, while the cost a bit more up front, you don't have the yearly cost of a new tree.
In previous years, throwing up the old fake tree is enough. But this year, we're going with tradition. We're going with the fresh scent of pine. We're going with a real tree!
