
University Of Iowa Children’s Hospital Opening To Be Delayed
The University of Iowa has pushed back the official opening of the new Children's Hospital. The Stead Family Children's Hospital was supposed to start seeing patients on December 10th. The university said on Wednesday that date has now been pushed back to late January or early February.
The hospital is just not quite ready and the university says that their top priority is the safety and comfort of patients and their families.
The school says that an official opening date should be announced in the coming weeks.
