It’s Soup Season! Who Has the Best Soup in the Corridor? [GALLERY]

SOUP, there it is!

To me, soup is an all-year-round type of food. I could eat it in the dead of summer. But, since winter is considered prime soup season, I went on a hunt this weekend for the best soups in the area. And when I say a "hunt," I mean I asked people on
the Cedar Rapids Area Support Local Group Facebook page!

If you ask me, my personal favorite is the Tomato Basil soup from Napoli's Italian Restaurant. They have it at both their Cedar Rapids and Marion locations. I tried it for the first time back in November, and it's truly the best tomato soup I've ever had. Seriously. If I could order it by the bucket, I would.

Another one of my favorites in Cedar Rapids is the Cheeseburger Chowder from Cellar 19 Wine & Deli. It took the place of Prairie Soup Company in Downtown Cedar Rapids, which was my ultimate soup paradise. The soup flavors at Cellar 19 are constantly rotating, so be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for their daily specials!
