It's no surprise that there are good cities to live in when you're single... and some not-so-good ones. But where in the U.S. are the BEST places for single people to flock to? Well, according to a new survey, that place is Boise, Idaho! You heard me right... Idaho! The results are based off of information about gender balance, percentage of single people, lowest rent for one bedroom apartments, lowest restaurant prices, and more. Here are the top 5 BEST and WORST places for singles to live out of 150 cities:

  1. Boise, Idaho
  2. Madison, Wisconsin
  3. Denver, Colorado
  4. Austin, Texas
  5. Lincoln, Nebraska
Worst
  1. Yonkers, New York
  2. Hialeah, Florida
  3. North Las Vegas, Nevada
  4. Brownsville, Texas
  5. Peoria, Arizona

The only city in Iowa to make the list was Des Moine, which came in at #19 of the 150 cities.
