Caitln Clark Trading Card Sells for Hundreds of Thousands!
Sure it is the WNBA offseason. But interest in Caitlin Clark and anything with her image or name on it continues to skyrocket, and this time for a record price!
Last October, a Caitlin Clark trading card sold for a then-record $97,212 according to the Athletic. That record stood for just over a year. This past weekend, Clark's one-of-a-kind 2024 Panini Select WNBA Gold Vinyl autograph rookie card sold for an astounding $234,850! It shattered the record for the most expensive Caitlin Clark card and WNBA card ever sold! Here is what it looks like, just in case you want to check your card collection.
The Athletic reports that the Clark card is also the second most expensive women's card of all time, trailing only a 2003 NetPro Serena Williams autograph patch card that sold for just over $266,000. The card featured a patch of an outfit Serena wore during a match.
