Caitlin Clark’s Return Includes Yet Another WNBA Milestone

Caitlin Clark returned to the Indiana Fever lineup on Sunday for a matchup against the WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces.

Caitlin Clark Plays Limited Minutes

Caitlin Clark continues to deal with back pain. It is an injury that cost her two games after suffering the injury on June 24th. But Clark was back in action last night as the Indiana Fever took on the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces. ESPN reports that Clark was on a minutes restriction and played only 24 minutes. But that was plenty of time for Clark to put up some nice numbers. Caitlin scored 12 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, and handed out 6 assists in a 109-75 Indiana win. Clark also set another WNBA record in the process!

Five Fever Players in Double Figures

ESPN reports that Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 27 points, but four other Fever players scored in double digits. The Fever are done with a grueling West Coast road trip and now return home to Indianapolis for four straight games prior to the WNBA All-Star Game, according to ESPN. 

Indiana topped the 100-point mark for the eighth time this season, and is the highest scoring team in the WNBA.
