Caitlin Clark Earns Coveted NBA 2K27 Cover Honor

A lot has been made this season of how the WNBA is failing to properly market Caitlin Clark. Not being featured on a 30th anniversary WNBA poster. Not being embraced by fellow players, who rated her the 11th best guard in the league! Heck, even Nike took too long to introduce her first signature shoe. She's in her third season, Nike! At least a leading video game understands the power of Caitlin Clark!

NBA 2K27 To Feature Caitlin Clark on A Cover

NBC Sports reports that the basketball video game NBA 2K27 announced its cover athletes for the upcoming game release in September. Caitlin Clark will join Spurs star Victor Wembanyama and former NBA star Derrick Rose on the cover of different versions of the popular game. NBC Sports notes that Clark will appear on the cover of the deluxe version of 2K27.

While I'm stoked that Clark is on the cover...is that the best picture they could come up with?

Other Women Who Have Appeared on 2K Covers

NBC Sports reports that Clark joins the select few WNBA legends who have been featured on NBA 2K covers, including Candice Parker in 2022, Diana Taurasi in 2023, Sue Bird in 2023, Sabrina Ionescu in 2024, A'Ja Wilson in 2025, and Angel Reese in 2026.
