Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh Locations Being Replaced

The Des Moines Register reports that Hy-Vee's Fast and Fresh stores and its green logos are being replaced by a new brand called Pump and Pantry. The big change comes after Hy-Vee decided to sell 21 of its standalone Fast and Fresh locations to Bosselman Enterprises. The Register reports that the company has 48 Pump and Pantry locations in Nebraska, where the company is based.

Which Fast and Fresh Locations Will Make the Change?

The Register reports that Des Moines will have 15 Pump and Pantry locations, the most of any metro area. Davenport will have two, and Marion will have one. Two more will be located in Omaha, and one location will be in Lakeville, Minnesota. The rebranding is expected to be done by late July. Each store only takes about 24 hours to change over, according to the Register.

The Register reports that all Hy-Vee employees at the convenience store chain were offered positions with Pump and Pantry, resulting in no layoffs.

What Will I Find Inside a Pump and Pantry?

According to the Register, Pump and Pantry has licensing deals with both Cinabon and Quiznos. They also serve pizza, baked goods, and ice cream. Pump and Pantry will also still honor the Hy-Vee fuel saver discounts and offer its own fuel discount program.
