Our KHAK ‘Teacher of the Week’ is From the Linn-Mar District

The only thing we love more than Fridays is great teachers!

It's time to announce our latest KHAK 'Teacher of the Week' winner, and she comes from the Linn-Marr Community School District. Congratulations to Leah Pederson, a 3rd-grade teacher at Echo Hill Elementary School in Marion!

Leah was nominated by Missi Pata. She wrote:

"Both my kids have had Mrs. Pederson as a 3rd-grade teacher. She is the most kind and caring teacher. Leah makes learning fun and exciting. It's refreshing to see the kids going to school each day excited to learn and know that she has played a huge part in that."

For being such a wonderful teacher, Leah will be receiving gift cards to Half Price Books in Cedar Rapids and Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery in Walford!
