KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ — April 14th

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Jolynn Swartzendruber, a teacher at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!” Jolynn was nominated by Peyton Staab, and here’s what they had to say:

"Mrs. Swartzendruber is someone who genuinely cares about her students and is great part of Prairie High School. She leaves her students feeling empowered and happy every day when they leave her class, often incorporating life lessons into her English 11 and speech classes."
