98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Alyssa Adrian

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Alyssa Adrian, who was nominated by her dad Rick Adrian! The entry reads:

"Alyssa has always been a person to help others. She started out in high school volunteering at Mercy IC. She then became a nursing assistant in the OR at UIHC, which sparked her interest in the EMT program at UIHC. She has been a EMT with Johnson County Ambulance since fall of 2023, and also just became a 911 dispatcher. Helping others is what she is all about, and I could not be a prouder dad. I'm happy to call her my daughter."

Congratulations to Alyssa! We thank her for her service and dedication to our community!
