We have some good news if you're looking for ice here in Cedar Rapids!

CBS2 is reporting that the Hy-Vee on Johnson Avenue has plenty of ice and you can stop by right now and pick some up. I'm pretty sure it will go fast, so I would go soon if you want to snag a few bags.

The story said they have several pallets at the store. The price is $2.49 for 8 lbs, $4.99 for 20 lbs and $9.99 for 5, 8 lbs bags. To read the full article from CBS2, you can visit this link.

For me it wasn't ice, but gas that I was looking for. I was down to just 2 miles when I was finally able to get the tank full. This has been a super crazy week and I hope the nightmare ends in the very near future.

I haven't been home yet, but I assume we are still without power. The last time I checked, there was still over 170,000 people here in Eastern Iowa without juice. I know there are line workers are out as we speak, and let's hope everything can get fixed.

This hasn't been much fun, but we will get through this.

Stay safe and keep it tuned to all four or our radio stations here at Townsquare Media in Cedar Rapids.
