It's always nice to have a taste of fall weather during the summer. Our days of highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s are about to over as temperatures this weekend will once again be above 90. But if you're really jonesing for a taste of fall, one Eastern Iowa apple orchard is officially open for business!

Wilson's Orchard in Iowa City officially opened on Wednesday. They're open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October 31st. And fans of apples are going to be very happy this year. The long winter and cool spring have made for a fantastic apple crop. It is so good that the apples are even physically bigger this year!

Right now customers can enjoy varieties like Zestar and Pristine. Later in the year, the popular Honeycrisp will be a top seller. When fall arrives, so will the crowds as they enjoy everything apple as well as pumpkins and other fall decors. Wilsons will also be hosting numerous themed weekends over the coming months. This weekend is blueberry weekend featuring Michigan blueberries for sale. Next weekend is back to school weekend with fun activities for the whole family!

It may not feel like fall, but thanks to Wilson's it will at least taste like it!
