'Golden Girls' Tribute Show Comes to Cedar Rapids

Over the past few years, we've seen a resurgence of the hit '80s sitcom featuring four older women living together in a house in Miami, Florida. There have been conventions, puppet shows, and now a live theatrical tribute to the beloved show 'The Golden Girls.'

Now, the ladies will be coming to Cedar Rapids next year!

What Exactly is The Show?

This is a unique show that celebrates the classic sitcom and brings the characters that longtime fans love into the modern-day setting.

"Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue allows audiences to relive the heartfelt hilarity of the four ladies who never stopped being best friends."

It's a professional stage show written by Robert Leleux whose work has appeared in the New York Times. It stars Ryan Bernier as Dorothy, Vince Kelley as Blanche, Adam Graber as Rose, Christopher Kamm as Sophia, and Jason Bowen as Stanley/Burt.

Where is the show and when is it?

The show is set to take place on February 28th at the Paramount Theatre.

Tickets for the show went on sale on October 13th. Prices for tickets begin at $43 and can be purchased here or by going to the Paramount Theatre box office. In addition, there will be a special VIP photo experience.

Those audience members with the VIP experience will be able to snag photos with the actors on the Golden Girls set after the show.
