Furry Friday Is Now The Truman Show!

In the movie 'The Truman Show', Jim Carrey plays a man who doesn't realize that his entire life is the basis of a television show. In a way, our Furry Friday dogs each week are living their best life, not realizing that they're stars on a radio show! But this week, it truly is the 'Truman' show, because we got to meet Truman!

Truman is around two or three years old and is a Siberian Husky mix. As if you couldn't pick out the Husky in him just by looking! He was rescued by the folks at Dogs Forever in Cedar Rapids and is currently in a foster home. If you want Truman to be the star of the show with your family there are a few things that you need to do.

First of all, Dogs Forever would prefer someone who is familiar with the Husky breed of dog. Truman is a great dog, but he needs attention and lots of physical activities! A fenced in backyard is a must and the fences need to be at least six feet high. Huskies have a knack for wanting to get out and roam around looking for fun! Truman is not a fan of cats, but would probably be OK with another dog if introduced properly. Kids are also OK, but probably not real young ones as Truman is a larger and active dog!
