98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Tim Deutmeyer

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Tim Deutmeyer, who was nominated by Jared Brunsmann! The entry reads:

"Tim is a very dedicated fireman and a huge asset to the Dyersville community. He started out as a fireman for the first few years of his career, and then quickly climbed the ladder to Captain. Then, shortly after, he became Assistant Chief. Tim is always willing to lend a hand, and is the first to the station when the tones go off. He is very knowledgeable and is great at teaching the younger fireman all the techniques needed to be a safe and great firefighter. Dyersville Fire Department takes great pride in our organization, and Tim is the kind of guy that will keep that going for years to come."
