Department Store To Close 20+ Iowa Locations
More retailers are closing up shop in 2019. The latest closings come from Wisconsin-based retailer Shopko.
KCRG reports that the department store filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and will be closing 70 percent of its stores. The liquidation of the stores will roll out in six phases. The estimated last days of operation for the Iowa locations are between March 2 and May 12. Below is a list of the Iowa locations that will be liquidated, as well as their estimated closing dates (in order of closing dates):

- Madison- 4/14/2019
- Onawa- 4/14/2019
- Audubon- 5/5/2019
- Emmetsburg- 5/5/2019
