It could be the final Iowa Hawkeye football season for The Fieldhouse restaurant in Cedar Rapids.

Fieldhouse 1st. Ave in Cedar Rapids is For Sale

In a post on Facebook this week, Fieldhouse 1st. Ave in Cedar Rapids announced that its owners will not be renewing the lease at its location at 5001 1st. Ave NE. The post says that the restaurant will remain open through the end of next March. The restaurant opened in its original location on Blairs Ferry Road in Cedar Rapids in 2010. It moved to its current location in 2015, according to CBS2.

Could New Owners Save the Restaurant?

The post mentions that if someone is interested in purchasing the Fieldhouse 1st. Ave and keeping the restaurant alive, offers are being accepted.

I've visited Fieldhouse 1st. Ave many times over the years. We even did Listener Lunch there, and the food was always great. The pizza, burgers, and those crispy tater tots were fantastic!
