A Cedar Rapids Restaurant at Lindale Mall is Now Closed

This past weekend (April 19th), a Cedar Rapids restaurant had its final day in business. Lindale Neighborhood Pub is officially closed.

About Lindale Neighborhood Pub

Lindale Neighborhood Pub first opened its doors on March 31st, 2025, a little over a year ago. It took over the space after Olde Brick House, which opened in the fall of 2023, closed down on St. Patrick's Day of 2025. Prior to Olde Brick House, the building was home to Boulder Tap House. Boulder Tap House relocated to a brand new space at 4515 Westdale Pkwy SW during the summer of 2023.

Lindale Neighborhood Pub, described as "more than just your local sports bar," was best known for its menu of smash burgers. The restaurant also offered pizza, handbreaded chicken tenders, wings, and "classic pub appetizers," as well as craft beer and signature cocktails.

The Closure

On Friday, April 17th, Lindale Neighborhood Pub announced on Facebook that their time at the mall would be coming to an end. The post reads:

"We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your loyalty over the past year. It's been an incredible journey, and we're so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve you. However, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be closing our doors, Sunday, April 19th will be our last day open."

As of right now, we don't know what the future holds for Suite 602 at Lindale Mall, but we will be sure to keep you updated when we do.
