When and where is the Cedar Rapids Beer Summit?
Saturday, November 6 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (or 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. for VIP’s) at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Complex in downtown Cedar Rapids.
How much are tickets and where can I purchase them?
Tickets are available online at americaontap.com. VIP tickets are sold out, but you can still purchase general admission for $45. Unlike previous years, tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will NOT be sold at the gate. Designated Driver tickets will also be available for purchase at the door for $10.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to get in?
Yes! Please make sure you bring your printed ticket(s) with you. We will be able to scan tickets on your mobile device as well.
- ID check will begin approximately 30 minutes prior to doors opening.
- There will be a line upon entering but it will move quickly.
Is there an age limit for the Cedar Rapids Beer Summit?
Yes, since this is a craft beer festival you must be 21+ to attend. Staff will be checking photo IDs at the door. If you do not have your photo ID with you, you will not be permitted entry to the event.
Will there be food available?
Yes, food will be available to purchase.
- No outside food or beverage – BUT, pretzel necklaces are encouraged.
- All food and non-alcoholic beverages will be sold by the Doubletree Convention Complex.
Do I need to bring money?
Only if you would like to purchase food. All beer sampling is included in the price of your ticket.
What do I need to have to get in?
You need to bring your printed ticket and a photo ID.
Where can I park?
There are several parking ramps in the area as well as some street parking. The first hour is free and after that, it’s just 75 cents per hour in downtown ramps.
When is the last call?
Last call will be at 8:50 p.m. Attendees may not leave with any beer, no exceptions will be made.
Will there be cabs available?
We will not be providing any, but they’ll definitely be some downtown that you can grab. Uber is also a great way to go.
