In college, they were rivals. Now, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are teammates with the Indiana Fever. Fans are hoping the two #1 overall draft picks can lead Indiana back to the playoffs!

South Carolina fans won't want to remember this, but Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes ended Aliyah Boston's college career during the 2023 Final Four. South Carolina was a huge favorite, sitting undefeated on the season. But Clark and the Hawkeyes shocked the world and advanced to their first-ever National Championship game. Boston would go on to be the #1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft.

In 2024, Iowa and South Carolina met again, this time for the National Championship. The Gamecocks proved to be too much for the Hawkeyes and completed their undefeated season. Caitlin Clark would then become the #1 overall pick of the Indiana Fever, joining Aliyah Boston in Indianapolis. Fans were pumped to see the back-to-back #1 picks light up the league! And we finally have some video of the two hard at work at practice.

The teaming of these two former All-Americans looks great even early on. Boston can dominate down low and makes a great target for Clark's pinpoint passes. That should also free up Caitlin a bit from the outside as if she needs any more space beyond the three-point line!

The Indiana Fever tip-off their preseason schedule on May 3rd, and the regular season on May 14th. Tickets are going fast and are rising in price too! Just another example of the Caitlin Clark effect!
