At times, last season felt like the WNBA was squandering the Caitlin Clark effect. The league didn't know how to feature the new superstar effectively. But attendance figures and ratings don't lie, and this year the WNBA will feature Clark and the Indiana Fever like no team ever before!

The WNBA announced its league schedule last week and for the first time in the history of the league, a team will have 41 of its 44 games nationally televised. Ladies and gentlemen, we present Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever! Hawk Central reports that the Fever will have 10 games on ABC/ESPN, 8 on ION, and 7 will be broadcast on CBS and CBS Sports Network. NBA TV and Prime Video will also feature Fever games this season.

Networks and streaming services were fighting over Indiana Fever games and for good reason. Hawk Central reports that during Clark's rookie season, all of the broadcasting partners of the WNBA had their highest-viewed games when the matchup featured the Indiana Fever.

The Fever also struck gold last season. Hawk Central reports that ticket sales were up 265%, jersey sales soared by 1,193%, and the franchise also saw a 225% increase in corporate sponsorships. They hope to see more of the same from Clark and the Fever on the court, and more numbers like those off the court this season.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will play their season opener on Saturday, May 17th against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. The game will tip at 1 p.m. Iowa time, and will be televised by ABC.
