Adorable Mutts Up For Adoption in Eastern Iowa
It's National Mutt Day! This day "encourages us to embrace, save and celebrate mixed breed dogs", according to the National Day Calendar.
There's plenty of celebrating to do here in Eastern Iowa as there are so many sweet mutts in the area looking for loving families. We've even had a bunch stop by the studios! Here are a few of the many pups still up for adoption:
- 1
Fargo
This first guy comes from Last Hope Animal Rescue. He's a two-year-old pit that has had a rough start to his life. "He faced some physical abuse that can be seen by the lack of his ears, but that doesn't stop Fargo from being a total sweetheart." He would be best as the only dog in his new home but gets along with everyone. He's also a bit undersized so he'd make a fine companion for kids too!

Taffy
Just like the candy, this girl is a real SWEETheart. Taffy is just over a year old and was rescued from floods in Texas. It may take her a minute to warm up and be comfortable in new surroundings, but once she is, she's a sweetie. She does still have that puppy energy so an active family would be a perfect fit. Taffy is up for adoption at Safe Haven.

Sadie
Sadie is a 6-year-old Doberman who was an owner surrender. She's unique in that she doesn't have the normal Doberman coloring and instead has a light brown coat. She's a beauty and such a lover. She would love to be a part of your home so find out how you can adopt her from Dogs Forever today!
