98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Salutes Megan Brown

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an eastern Iowa First Responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford.

Today we're honoring Megan Brown! Here's what the entry says:

"Megan is a member of the Colesburg EMS. She is the foundation of our group by always making sure that when we are on the scene of a call we have everything we need, and she documents everything that goes on along the way. She is very active in the community with many projects, making her a familiar face. Our patients feel a huge sense of comfort when they see her because it's someone they recognize. We are thankful to have her on our team!"
