98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Justin Kaczinski

Every Friday morning at 6:30, 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during our 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we're honoring Justin Kaczinski, who was nominated by Hannah Guinn! The entry reads:

"HE IS RETIRING!!! After 27 years with the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Justin will be retiring this Friday, February 28th. During his time at CRPD, he has been a proud member of the Honor Guard, and has spent many years as an FTO training new recruits. He is incredibly proud to have been an officer, but we can't wait to see what’s next for him!
