98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Denny Green

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Denny Green, who was nominated anonymously! The entry reads:

"Denny Green joined the Cascade Fire Department in 1998 to help others, and he has done just that! Over the past 26 years, he has held many different titles, from Training Officer to Fire Chief, a position he served in for 12 years. Denny has helped the Cascade Fire Department become the respected department it is!"

Congratulations to Denny! We thank you for your dedication and service to our community!
