Adding Books Makes You Look Smart–Impossible Question

I admit it. We have a bookshelf at home, with books on it I've never read. I don't even know what the books are about. They are there for decorative purposes only. I know that I'm not alone. Whether it's at home or at the office, many of us line up books on a shelf to make people think that we love to read, or that we're sophisticated and worldly. But 21% of people say they do it to make themselves look smarter. What do you think? What do you think when you see a bookshelf full of books? Do you ever question if that person has read them?
