Because Brain and I work in morning radio, a lot of people just assume we are "morning people." That's not necassarily true. But, we do have a few tips for you if you'd like to become one!

According to experts, you can become a morning person in a matter of 5 minutes. Here are the 5 steps:

1. Set your intentions for the next day before going to sleep. If you find something to look forward to the next day, you will wake up with a more positive attitude, which will make getting out a bed a little easier.

2. Put your alarm clock somewhere that's NOT directly next to your bed. That forces you to get up and moving, and hitting your snooze button will be much more difficult.

3. Brush your teeth or wash your face with cold water. It increases your wake-up motivation level.

4. Drink a glass of water. Dehydration occurs when you're sleeping, and that causes fatigue. So, instead of more sleep, you may just need more water.

5. Work out. What better way to wake your whole body up than by breaking a sweat?
