One Killed, One Injured In Eastern Iowa Shootings

According to KWWL, "Waterloo Police confirm two shootings happened Monday night and one of them turned deadly."

The first incident happened in the 700 block of Logan Avenue. Officers were responding to a shots fired report. That's where they found the victim, 18-year-old Corey Dunn. He was transported to a local hospital with what appears to be non-life-threatening injures.

The second shooting didn't end so well. The incident happened around 9:45 Monday night at 84 Ricker Street. That's where police found a woman that had suffered a gunshot wound. She was transported to Allen Hospital but did not make it. Her name will not be released until the family has been notified.
