The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Might Have a Yule Ball
And nobody on Earth is more excited than me.
Harry Potter fans, get out your credit cards, because Universal Orlando might be hosting its very own YULE BALL (think "Goblet of Fire")!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida has helped bring the world of Harry Potter into real life, giving us Butter Beer, Diagon Alley, The Hogwarts Express, and even dragons! Now, they are possibly taking things a step further, hosting an event that was featured in book four "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," the Yule Ball. Theme park guests received a survey last week asking them if they'd be interested in some holiday events, with one of the events inviting guests to, "wear dress robes and dine/dance at a festive holiday Yule Ball with themed music, dancing, food and beverages." COUNT. ME. IN. The event would take place at Hogwarts in the Great Hall, just to make things even more magical.
As a die-hard Harry Potter fan, I have never in my life wanted to attend an event more. I don't care what it costs. Oh, and I WILL have a dress that looks exactly like Hermoine's in the movie, because MONEY IS NO OBJECT HERE. Now I just need to find a Viktor Krum...
There are no official plans for this event as of right now, but something tells me our Yule Ball dreams will become a reality later this year.
