Teachers Are Helping Your Child Be A Good Student And A Good Person

If you have kids in the Marion school district like I do, you no doubt have heard of 'The Marion Way'. Other school districts may have something very similar. What is it? To quote the Marion School District website.

As a parent, I love this. These are attributes that we try and teach our kids at home too. But to know that the school also puts a huge emphasis on it really helps. Students are given slips in class if a teacher catches them doing something according to the Marion Way. They also have special ceremonies that honor large groups of students. My daughter Cayleigh received an award yesterday for honesty.

By teaching kids these important traits early, you not only help build a better student, you build a better person. Kudos to Marion and all other districts with similar programs!
