Coralville is a city in eastern Iowa located in Johnson County. It is a suburb of Iowa City and part of the Iowa City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 21,103 in 2019, according to the United States Census Bureau.
Coralville incorporated as a city on June 1, 1857. The city's name is derived from the fossils that are found in the limestone along the Iowa River.
Today, Coralville is home to Coral Ridge Mall where many eastern Iowans go to shop.
